How Good Can You Stand It?

“Nothing splendid has ever been achieved except by those who dared believe that something inside of them was superior to circumstances”
Bruce Barton, 1927

My current "top of mind" thoughts include:

• Beliefs

–Change your beliefs, change your world

- This ancient principle works now and forever. Hold it in your heart (feeling it) and your mind (envisioning it) and what ever you BELIEVE in will be yours. But you must intend it, believe it and let it go. Then go with the flow.

- Everything comes to those who believe…

- In my opinion, Belief is the single greatest habit, characteristic, behavior mankind can possess

- It is often generate like this:

DISBELIEFDisbelief
Disbelief
Disbelief
disbelief

Then Belief can really kick in:

belief
belief
Belief
BELIEF
BELIEF

- Before any major goal can be achieved, we must put ourselves in a position to succeed – we must believe

- For most of us we get to a certain level of success, then some strange, unseen force seems to hinder further progress

–Has this ever happened to you?

Dr Denis Waitley tells the story of a golfer going out to play a round of golf with a friend. The f friend is a better golfer, but for the first 9 holes our man is keeping up. He shoots a 2 under and at the turn seems to become aware of this. His old limiting believes kick in and the self talk begins…this is not like me. I am not this good. I have never been under par in 9 holes. So he settles back into “his” game and shoots 12 over par for the second 9. Somewhere in the middle of the back nine he thinks to himslef, “now that’s more like my game” and so it goes.

• A New Paradigm

Paradigm is an ancient word meaning:
“A set of assumptions, concepts, values and practices that constitute a way of viewing reality for the community that shares them, especially in an intellectual discipline.”

In my life I have found that I have to “reset” my mind to move forward in new and exciting directions. You too may find this to be true.

Paradigm shift

•Think of a Paradigm Shift as a change from one way of thinking to another. It's a revolution, a transformation, a sort of metamorphosis, it does not just happen, but rather it is driven by agents of change. You are your own Agent of Change

• Are you still clinging to
– what’s known?
–what’s comfortable?

• Deal from strength

• Develop the habit of succeeding

• Coaching for success

• Life takes discipline

• Life takes action

• Life takes effort, And so does Success

•Success is not a talent, it is a HABIT and the more it becomes a habit, it becomes a talent

•Work works, wishing won’t

All of this takes ACTION:
